Ummm if thinking about a dark-skinned Jesus offends you, then maybe you should rethink why you like him in the first place… Racism doesn’t really jive with the whole ‘Love your neighbor’ ‘treat others as you want to be treated’ stuff.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, during when Palestine was ruled under the Roman Empire. Jesus was a Palestinian, and his ‘looks’ were transformed during the bringing of Christianity to Europe.
